Hopefully not another three letter acronym we all have to learn ?. Application Release Orchestration is a subcategory of Developer Operations focused on helping development teams eliminate the hassle of releasing software. Our mission is to make each one of your releases a success, and that starts with removing the time consuming & tedious aspects every release requires. For example versioning your release and generating release notes for it that can be used to communicate to others what’s changed.
Using Gitlab, BitBucket, SVN, or another SCM? Don’t have a GitHub account but need access to the team’s release notes?
Unfortunately, we don’t support those solutions yet. We’re prioritizing what to support next so if you’d like us to support a different code hosting platform or have team members who don’t have GitHub accounts but want to use Next Release please contact us and let us know.
You can visit your Project > Settings > Import page to import past releases.
This will not modify releases already published to GitHub.
All of our account management is done through GitHub, so to reset your password (which will also result in resetting your GitHub password) use the GitHub Password Reset.
To search and sort through your release notes, go to your dashboard and click the icon. From there you can filter down which release notes you want to see or search. At the bottom of the dropdown there’s a text field where you can type in words you’d like to search for.
Next Release creates release notes by importing your pull requests and categorizing them automatically, with almost no developer effort.
